In one of his most well-known studies, Bannister looked at why things that had a significant emotional effect on someone (like “...the sight of a needle or blood or sudden bad news” (Simon Garfield, Timekeepers)) would result in fainting. According to Simon Garfield “...his greatest legacy is the work conducted to revise Brian’s Clinical Neurology...” This book covered many diagnoses of different diseases.
